JavaFX slides shown in Flash?

There are many flash widgets which enable slide-show.
Should I use that for sharing JavaFX Sun-Tech-Day slides?
Can we use JavaFX for the same?
Here is an attempt..

For standalone mode
Now JavaFX slides are shown in JavaFX! Cool?!

  1. Very Cool!
    Where is the source?

  2. Rakesh Menon says:

Thanks Jose. I have provided the source code (It doesn’t have any comments though).

    cool indeed,
this is one of the few use cases in which a resizeable and draggable applet with fullscreen mode would actually make sense.
a desktop shortcut with offline functionality would almost replace pdfs šŸ˜‰
    Great idea!

Thanks Michael. I added simulated fullscreen support (change the size of applet to screen size). Drag out the applet using Alt + Left-Mouse. Double click on slide will change the size of fullscreen. Double click again to restore. Also provided standalone (Java Web Start) link.

Awesome. When i initially heard about javafx i was really keen to see sun use it to showcase it’s abilities. I was very disappointed when the initial launch of was all quicktime and flash. It makes a lot of practical sense to show java slides using javafx – that in itself is a talking/learning point
    I like your posts

  6. Rakesh Menon says:

@javanut Thanks! Yes, objective of these posts is to share useful and interesting JavaFX features with simplicity.
